Gelibolu Memorial - Art Prize Competition

The jury members of Çanakkale Art Prize have gathered at Senate Hall of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University at 2 o’clock on the second of April 2010 to determine the winner of the prize. Prof. Dr. Süleyman Saim Tekcan chaired the jury panel consisting of Prof.Dr Ali Akdemir, Prof Dr.Gündüz Gölönü, Asst. Prof. Dr. Murat Mete Ağyar, Çanakkale Australia Consul Andrew Koç McDonald.

In the first election session, 78 works have been selected among the pieces accepted for art prize, while in the second session, only 27 pieces have been found worth being exhibited. The prizes have been to the winners at the traditional CAP Ceremony and Dinner.

We owe much to the artists for their invaluable participation in the fifth Çanakkale Art Prize 2010.
